This week, Dave hears about the impact of parking meters on Thayer Street, the major commercial strip near Brown University. A leading critic of the meters, Ken Dulgarian, owner of the Avon Cinema and other properties, says they are devastating local businesses.

This week, Mark and Dave sit down with U.S. Attorney for Rhode Island Peter Neronha to learn about his quest to find jobs for parolees.  

Neronha and other advocates believe good jobs are crucial for reducing recidivism and cutting costs in the criminal justice system. They recently organized a summit to introduce employers to the process for hiring ex-offenders, and hear from  a few companies who are already doing it.
