Providence College holds a rally Tuesday celebrating the Friar’s first NCAA men’s hockey championship.  The team’s captain and head coach addressed fans at 4 PM.

President Brian Shanley said students can celebrate in a way they weren’t able to after the Friars’ win in Boston.

College officials expect fans to pack Schneider Arena, with a capacity of about 3,000, for the event.
