All Things Considered & The Bottom Line host

Dave Fallon is RIPR's afternoon host and news anchor for All Things Considered, and is co-host of RIPR's weekly business news segment, The Bottom Line.

Fallon is a born-and-bred Rhode Islander, having gone to school at Cranston East, Rhode Island College, Providence College and the Rhode Island School of Broadcasting.  His news career spans more than four decades, including 20 years in Boston radio and 20 years in Providence radio, with stops at WPRO, WEAN, WPJB and several in Boston and Hartford.  

He is also a former director of the RI General Assembly’s Legislative Press bureau, and a 2014 inductee to the RI Radio Hall of Fame.

A Superior Court judge has ruled that the Secretary of State’s office improperly used the courts to investigate a lobbyist for 38 Studios.

Scott Judge Daniel Procaccini ruled that Secretary of State Ralph Mollis and his lawyer misused the courts when looking into whether Michael Corso was registered with the state while lobbying for the failed video game company.

Renovated Kennedy Plaza Set To Reopen Early Next Year

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority expects Kennedy Plaza in Providence to be ready for regular bus service in mid-January.  

The bus hub has been closed since the summer to accommodate safety and design improvements.  RIPTA says the project is taking longer than expected because of some needed changes.  The Kennedy Plaza improvements will include passenger-friendly shelters, lighted signage, trees, and automated ticketing machines.
