All Things Considered & The Bottom Line host

Dave Fallon is RIPR's afternoon host and news anchor for All Things Considered, and is co-host of RIPR's weekly business news segment, The Bottom Line.

Fallon is a born-and-bred Rhode Islander, having gone to school at Cranston East, Rhode Island College, Providence College and the Rhode Island School of Broadcasting.  His news career spans more than four decades, including 20 years in Boston radio and 20 years in Providence radio, with stops at WPRO, WEAN, WPJB and several in Boston and Hartford.  

He is also a former director of the RI General Assembly’s Legislative Press bureau, and a 2014 inductee to the RI Radio Hall of Fame.

Nurses Raise Concerns About Ebola Preparation In The State

A union representing thousands of nurses in Rhode Island released the results of a member survey about hospital preparedness on Monday. About 360 members responded. And the union says half said they hadn’t received any formal communications about Ebola preparations from their hospitals. 92 percent said they weren’t sure whether they had – or didn’t have - the proper equipment to protect themselves. But hospitals say they’re doing all they can to keep workers safe.
