PROVIDENCE, RI – Brown University must turn over fund raising and donation records for a wealthy alumnus whose daughter accused a fellow student of raping her in 2006. A federal judge has ordered the school to release the documents, which were requested by lawyers for the student accused in the rape, William McCormick III. McCormick says he is innocent and was forced to leave school without a chance to defend himself. Brown has two weeks to turn over the documents, as well as un-redacted employee emails, which were previously handed over with about 100 items blacked out.
