Providence, RI – Parking in Central Falls is going to be even tougher this winter. Beginning Monday, police will begin enforcing a winter parking ban barring parking on streets between one and six AM through April first. According to the Providence Journal, the goal of the parking ban is not to gain revenue through tickets, but to allow for plows to clear snow and ice from roads more effectively. The cost for those who still park on the city streets? A steep hundred and forty-six dollars. That's eighty-two for the tow, twenty four for the car's storage, and a forty dollar parking ticket.
