Central Falls, R.I. – Central Falls school officials have selected two new principals to lead Central Falls High School as it undergoes a state-ordered turnaround effort.
Evelyn Jones, an instruction and curriculum specialist, currently works as an assistant principal at the school. She will be joined by Sonn Sam, a principal from the Met school, an alternative high school in Providence.
District officials have also named a turnaround officer, a position required by the state policy on school turnarounds. The Central Falls school board will vote on the three appointments at their next meeting on June 8.
