Channel 10 workers outraged about CEO compensation

PROVIDENCE, RI – Workers at Channel 10 say they're outraged about how the CEO of their parent company received a big increase in his compensation last year.

Channel 10's parent company, Virginia-based Media General, recently told company employees they have to take 15 unpaid days off between now and year's end.

Media General's CEO, Marshall Morton, received an increase in his compensation last year of more than 600-thousand dollars from 2009. A company document shows Morton's total compensation last year was just under two million dollars.
