Chiefs give it up to the Pawsox for another win at McCoy
The PawSox beat the Syracuse Chiefs 10 – 3 Sunday at McCoy Stadium. During the game, Mitch Maier hit a homer in the bottom of the fourth inning. That boosted the PawSox to a two run lead 4 - 2. Left Fielder Jeremy Hazelbaker said it’s all about settling down at the plate.
“I feel well it’s been going good, you know I’m trying to get into a groove right now keeping a consistent swing and keep my approach going to the plate a bat from a bat," said Hazelbaker. "Just slowing things down and relaxing and not getting to jumpy at the plate.”
The PawSox are in first place of their division 35 – 22, and have won eight out of the last ten games. They will play their last game of the series against the Syracuse Chiefs Monday at 7:05 pm at McCoy Stadium.
