Providence, RI – Twenty-four teachers, headmasters, and government school officials from Shenzhen, China, are visiting Brown University this month. The visiting educators will tour nearly a dozen public, private, and charter schools throughout New England to compare how American education practices differ from their own. Organized by Brown's Urban Education Policy Program, the Brown-Shenzhen Summer Institute are visiting to get a firsthand look American classroom management and standards, teaching methods, policy, and other education issues.
