Debrief: The Pro & Con Of Raimondo's College Tuition Plan

Governor Gina Raimondo wants to offer Rhode Islanders two years of free tuition at CCRI, RIC, or URI. 

The governor says her RI Promise proposal would boost the economy by expanding accessibility to a college education. 

But the path forward for the plan remains uncertain, due in part to the cool reaction of some state lawmakers. Rhode Island Public Radio political reporter Ian Donnis sat down to talk about the outlook with Kristin Gourlay.
