Festival Ballet looks to get back on high road

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – At Festival Ballet in Providence, it hasn't been the best of times to start a new season. Earlier this month, the managing director and seven board members quit after failing to agree on the company's future. Artistic director Mihailo Djuric also decided to postpone, until February, the company's high-cost season opener, "Carmen." He's replaced it with Festival's popular and eclectic series, "Up Close on Hope." As WRNI's Bill Gale reports, it's part of an effort to get the ensemble back on the high road.
