Forecasters say snowy weekend on tap

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Forecasters with the National Weather Service say while light snow is expected for Friday night's drive home, up to four inches could fall Saturday night.

Charlie Foley is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Tauton, he says Saturday will be cloudy and start off dry.

"We're looking at another bout of snow showers Saturday afternoon into late Saturday night," says Foley. "And this has the potential giving two to four inches of snow and that will continue into Sunday."

Sunday will bring a little sunshine with more snow possible Tuesday night into Wednesday, says Foley.
