PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Gas prices keep going up in Rhode Island and have hit the highest number all year, $3.04 per gallon.
AAA Southern New England says its weekly gas survey finds a gallon of regular unleaded was up two cents a gallon from last week. That's the fourth straight week that prices have risen.
Prices in Rhode Island are 19 cents above the national average of $2.85 per gallon.
They're 14 percent higher than at this time last year, when a gallon of gas cost $2.66.
