Providence, R.I. – Gasoline prices are holding steady in Rhode Island, staying at an average $2.73 per gallon for regular unleaded for the second week in a row.
AAA Southern New England says gas prices have been relatively stable since the beginning of June, when the average price was $2.75 a gallon.
The price has gone up about 5 percent from this time last year.
AAA says the Rhode Island average is a penny higher than the national average.
