Greig's twin sister speaks out

PROVIDENCE, RI – So you thought you knew everything there was to know about the Whitey Bulger case? Well, here's a little known tidbit: his girlfriend, Catherine Greig has a twin sister. She's speaking out.

Greig's twin sister, Margaret McClusker, has offered her South Boston home as collateral for the former fugitive's bail, according to a report in the Boston Herald. After 16 years apart, she's hoping the two will be reunited and enjoy what she called the "oneness" they once enjoyed.

Greig is reportedly urging her twin to move on with her life.

Greig, who is imprisoned at the Wyatt Detention Facility in Central Falls, has voluntarily agreed to remain in jail while her attorney prepares arguments for her release. McCusker says she has visited her twin there and finds it hard to see her locked up.

McClusker served six months under house arrest for lying about two phone calls she received from her twin in 1996, shortly after the infamous duo took off.
