Insurance adjuster sentenced for fraud

PROVIDENCE, RI – An unlicensed Johnston insurance adjuster who pled guilty to bilking an insurance company out of $40,000 has been sentenced to three years probation. Vincent DiPaolo was ordered to serve the first six months in community confinement at the Coolidge House in Boston. The next six months he will be under house arrest.

DiPaolo helped a former radio personality file a bogus home insurance claim following last year's historic floods. He pled guilty to conspiracy and four counts of mail fraud.
