The joy of life-long learning

PROVIDENCE, RI – In one of Plato's dialogues, the Athenian general Laches is known to say, "that I would fain grow old, learning many things." Although this insight may seem hackneyed, as we age most of us seem to discover an exquisite richness about learning that was hard, perhaps impossible, to appreciate when we were younger. That's certainly the case with Ed Iannuccilli.

Ed Iannuccilli is a graduate of Providence College and Albany Medical College. He is the author of medical articles and of stories of his childhood. His latest book is "What Ever happened to Sunday Dinner and Other Stories."
