Liberian Refugees Flee to RI

WRNI – Since the fall, refugees from the African country of Liberia have been coming to Rhode Island as part of an international effort to provide safe homes to residents forced to flee both a deadly civil war in their own country and violence in neighboring countries. By next fall, about 400 refugees are expected to join the already significant Liberian community in Rhode Island. Brian Jones reports
