WRNI – The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has approved a proposal to develop a liquefied natural gas facility in Fall River, Massachusetts. Weaver's Cove Energy, the company proposing the project says the LNG facility is necessary to meet a growing demand for natural gas in New England. But opponents say in a post 9-11 world, it's unwise to build a gas storage facility in such a densely populated area. WRNI's Monica Brady-Myerov reports.
