Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket won't be naming a potential buyer today after all.
Instead of presenting his choice for the medical center's new owner, Landmark's Special Master will ask for court advice on how much information he should reveal about the hospital's bidders.
Landmark's spokesman says five entities made an offer on the medical center, but he won't offer the names of the bidders or where they're from. He says he can't predict when the special master will eventually recommend a buyer.
Earlier this week, Transition Healthcare based out of Tennessee, confirmed that it planned to bid on Landmark. In February, Regional Health Care Partners- another Tennessee company- signed a non binding letter of intent to make an offer on the hospital.
