More Narragansett Teacher Talks
Narragansett teachers and school administrators will be back at the bargaining table this weekend and back in court on Monday.
A Washington County Superior Court judge recessed a hearing Friday afternoon on whether to order teachers back to work without a decision. He ordered both sides to negotiate further during the weekend. The hearing is scheduled to resume on Monday.
Earlier in the day, Judge Ronald Gagnon refused to step down, even though he admits that he views teacher strikes as a nuissance.
