A new kind of home debuts in the region

NORTHEAST U.S. – This winter a single mom and her kids will move into an unusual house in northern Vermont. It's being built by Habitat for Humanity, which serves low-income families. It will be heated mostly by the sun shining through windows and a tiny amount of electricity. Its one of the first of its kind to be built in the region. As part of a collaboration with Northeast Stations, Charlotte Albright reports.
