Obesity Epidemic

wrni – Rhode Island's obesity rate is at an all-time high. Experts worry that if more isn't done to curb the rate, obesity will overtake tobacco as the leading cause of
preventable disability and death. Obesity
can lead to high blood pressure, diabetes,
heart disease, and respiratory problems, as well as psychological problems. The problem is being addressed at school's, workplaces, and health organizations in the state.
