PawSox Come Out On Top

May 19, 2013

The Pawsox beat the Indianapolis Indians 11 – 3.  That’s thanks to the PawSox defense and Allen Webster’s pitching in the first 5 innings.  Webster struck out 6 batters in a row with the 7th following later.  PawSox manager Gary Disarcina says Webster was great however there is still room for improvement.

“I thought he pitched really well his first three innings, he commanded his fastball you know the second or third time those guys went through the order.. That’s a good line up over there.. But the second or third time they went through the order they got them to work a little bit more and they filed off some pitches,  I thought he did a good job but there’s still room for improvement.”

The Indians tried to make a comeback in the 8th.  Tonight (5/20) the PawSox take on the Indianapolis Indians at McCoy Stadium.
