PawSox Come Out On Top

Jun 1, 2013

The PawSox beat the Syracuse Chiefs 5 – 3.  Allen Webster opened the game with great pitching, striking out a total of 6 batters.  With fans at a season high of 10,376 in attendance, they gave the team a boost for their second win at home.  After a week of being on the road picking up 5 wins from Louisville and Indianapolis, Manager Gary DiSarcina is happy with the team and the decisions he is making.

“Well we had a good road trip I thought, especially with the competition we played Louisville and Indianapolis is two of the better teams in the other division, and you know Indianapolis is the best team in the league.  For us to go up and have a split at their ballpark, we’re happy with them.”

The PawSox have won the last 7 out of 10 games and are looking to finish up the last two games of their series against the Syracuse Chiefs, at McCoy Stadium.
