Providence, RI – A physician's assistant in Cranston has volunteered to suspend his license after posing as physician to obtain drugs.
According to the Department of Health, Andrew Macko from RI Medical Weight Loss prescribed and bought himself Hydrocodone under his doctor's name.
Macko was also operating several businesses without the required supervision of a licensed doctor.
He must petition the Board of Licensure if he wants to practice medicine again.
