PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Board of Regents is holding a pair of public hearings on proposed regulations for governing the state's public charter schools.
The regulations will cover how charter schools are established, monitored and how they will recruit students.
There are 15 charter schools in Rhode Island, the state limits the number to 36 schools.
