When Rhode Island lawmakers begin a new session next Tuesday, they'll face a big decision about the future of the PawSox.
The Triple-A team is looking for roughly $83 million in public financing to contribute to the cost of building a new stadium in Pawtucket. House leaders have yet to say if they will vote on the plan. Senate leaders have promised to bring it up early in the new session. Senate President Dominick Ruggerio sat down to discuss the PawSox and other issues expected to surface during the new legislative session.
