PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Rhode Island real estate picture improved slightly in December.
The Rhode Island Association of Realtors says its December sales report shows the single family market is gaining some momentum.
The number of single family home sales rose from 505 in November to 529 in December. During the same time period the median price rose half a percent to $210,000.
Condominium sales were a different story. They were down 17 percent from November to December and the median price declined 10 percent to $178,500.
