RhodyVotes '16: Three Local Republicans On Their Choice For President

Nov 3, 2016

National polling shows a tightening race for presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. In Rhode Island, Clinton is expected to win, but Republicans say don’t count Trump out just yet.

To understand Trump’s appeal in a majority Democratic state, we invited three Republicans to join us in the studio: State Representative Joe Trillo, chair of Trump’s Rhode Island campaign, National Republican Committeewoman Lee Ann Sennick and Gary Sasse, from the Hassenfeld Institute for Public Leadership at Bryant University.

In a conversation with RIPR Host Chuck Hinman, Rep. Joe Trillo begins by explaining why he plans to vote for Trump for president on November 8th.
