PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Rhode Islanders got out their shovels and salt yesterday to dig out of the heavy snow storm.
Michael Sotelo stood on Providence's Dean street trying to knock snow off the roof of his car. He said he moved here from Texas about a week ago to live with his girlfriend. The storm is making him rethink his decision.
"But I guess it's cold in Fort Worth right now too, but not snow like this," he said. "I've never seen snow like this, it's ridiculous."
Sotelo said he had nowhere to go, he was just cleaning off his car for the morning. He planned to stay inside the rest of the day.
