State transportation director says tolls may be in the future

Providence, RI – Orange cone season starts this week in Rhode Island that's when the department of transportation kicks road improvement projects into high gear. To pay for road work, Governor Lincoln Chafee is calling for the state to start using vehicle licensing fees. Michael Lewis, Director of the Rhode Island Department of Transportation says it's going to take a major investment to get our roads and bridges back into shape.
