Sweatshop Free Designs from Providence Youth
By Jim Moses
WRNI – Who would work for 23 cents an hour? That's the question being asked on the tags of a new line of clothing being designed by a group of Providence artists. The answer is "she would", and there's a picture of a teenage girl and information about sweatshop manufacturing. This new line of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats is made without sweatshop labor. It's also unusual because of it's message driven designs - created and marketed by a Providence youth group. WRNI's Jim Moses reports.
