Two immigration laws: a disparate treatment

Providence, R.I. – A court has blocked the state of Arizona from enforcing key provisions of its controversial immigration law, but state police in Rhode Island continue to assist federal authorities in rounding up undocumented people. The Rhode Island policy is a result of a 2008 executive order signed by Governor Carcieri.
