A revised version of the bill to pay for a new PawSox stadium in Pawtucket is due to be unveiled this Thursday.
The updated legislation is expected to address some of the concerns raised during hearings over the fall.
The Senate Finance Committee is expected to briefly discuss the bill, but a vote on the measure will not take place until next month, at the earliest.
Rhode Islanders have reacted coolly to plans for a new $73 million PawSox stadium.
Supporters say it would spark economic growth in Pawtucket. Opponents are against the use of public borrowing to help pay for the cost of the stadium.
