PROVIDENCE, RI – The Providence School Board heard answers to some of its questions about a controversial school closure plan.
But the board has delayed voting on the proposal, which will save an estimated $12 million according to school and city officials.
To find out why many parents are opposing the plan, WRNI education reporter Elisabeth Harrison sat down with Matt Gabor and Michael Udris from the West Side Parents Education Coalition.
They say the city should take more time to consider the plan.
