PROVIDENCE, RI – In today's installment of One Square Mile Woonsocket, we focus on the Woonsocket school system. Serving roughly 3,000 students each day, Woonsocket schools face challenges like high poverty and low graduation rates.
WRNI's Elisabeth Harrison sat down with Superintendent Bob Gerardi, who says the schools have not forgotten Woonsocket's history as a French-Canadian mill town.
