RIPR on Mobile Devices

iPads and iPhones

The RIPR iPhone Streaming app  is a simple, easy to use app that allows you to listen to Rhode Island Public Radio anywhere you can get a wireless internet connection, or in the case of iPhones and cellular-network iPads, anywhere you can get a cell signal You can also use our mobile website which includes an embedded stream player. Use the web browser on your phone to go to m.ripr.org. You will see a "Listen Live" play button near the top of the page. Click the play button and you will be able to hear Rhode Island Public Radio.

We are also available on the NPR News app and the TuneIN app.

Android / Droid Phones

Our new mobile website includes an embedded stream player. Use a web browser on your Android to go to m.ripr.org, and you will see the "Listen Live" play button near the top of the page. The built-in music player in most Droid phones will also play our stream but it can be awkward to make it work - try just tapping the "Alternative Webcast - Streamguys" link and see if it opens in the Music Player app.   If not, get the TuneIN app from the Google Play Store.   Search within the app for "RIPR."
