Chiefs give it up to the Pawsox for another win at McCoy

The PawSox beat the Syracuse Chiefs 10 – 3 Sunday at McCoy Stadium.  During the game, Mitch Maier hit a homer in the bottom of the fourth inning. That boosted the PawSox to a two run  lead 4 - 2.  Left Fielder Jeremy Hazelbaker said it’s all about settling down at the plate.

“I feel well it’s been going good, you know I’m trying to get into a groove right now keeping a consistent swing and keep my approach going to the plate a bat from a bat," said Hazelbaker.  "Just slowing things down and relaxing and not getting to jumpy at the plate.”

PawSox Come Out On Top

The PawSox beat the Syracuse Chiefs 5 – 3.  Allen Webster opened the game with great pitching, striking out a total of 6 batters.  With fans at a season high of 10,376 in attendance, they gave the team a boost for their second win at home.  After a week of being on the road picking up 5 wins from Louisville and Indianapolis, Manager Gary DiSarcina is happy with the team and the decisions he is making.

PawSox Last Win Before The Road

The PawSox came out with their second win in the 4 game series against the Indianapolis Indians at McCoy stadium Tuesday.  The Pawsox were ahead 9 – 6 before the 8th inning until the Indians hit a home run scoring two points. The PawSox still came out on top ultimately carrying out a 9 – 8 win.  Manager Gary Disarcina had this to say about the PawSox current schedule. 

“We are excited to enjoy our day off and I think you know day offs don’t come around here..  So we are going to enjoy our day off and then we will get back at it with Louisville, and play baseball!”

PawSox Can't Pull It Off Against Indianapolis

The PawSox play Indy again Tuesday at McCoy Stadium.

The PawSox gave it up to the Indianapolis Indians 8 - 4 Monday at McCoy stadium.  Jerry Sands batted a grand slam in the first inning of the game giving the Indians a big lead while making it tough for the PawSox to comeback throughout the game. 

PawSox Manger Gary DiSarcina has a few words to say applied towards improvement for the last game against Indy Tuesday.  "Pitch a little bit better, our defense has been solid, run the bases good," said DiSarcina, "and like I said be a little more clutch at the plate."
