Barrington Doctor Pleads Not Guilty to Providing Alcohol to Minors

A Rhode Island doctor and Brown University Professor was in court today; accused of providing alcohol to minors.

Dr. Bruce Becker has pleaded not guilty to violating the social host law.

Barrington police arrived at Becker’s house last Tuesday night after receiving a report of loud music.

According to the police report, 30 people scattered, including Dr. Becker, who police say yelled for everyone to run away.

Police say they found vodka and beer at the home in Barrington.

Brown Doctor Accused of Allowing Teens to Drink Alcohol

Brown University Medical School professor and doctor at Rhode Island hospital is expected in court Wednesday on charges he violated Rhode Island’s social host law. Bruce Becker is accused of allowing alcohol at a birthday party for his 18-year-old son at their home in Barrington.
