The State House will be illuminated in a yellow light Monday. The lighting is aimed at raising awareness about endometriosis, a condition that affects more than five million women in the United States. The lights will come on at dusk and get brighter as the sky gets darker.

The State House will be illuminated in a bluish green color for the next week in recognition of Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention month. The color teal has become emblematic of the “No More” campaign mounted by the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The lighting is one of many activities the Coalition and its member agencies are hosting throughout February to reach out to teens and young adults.
